Privacy Policy
What we collect, why, and what we never do with it.

This Privacy Policy explains what information Tap & Hook (“we,” “us”) collects through tapandhook.com and our services, how we use it, and the choices you have.
1. Information we collect
- Form and email information. When you use our project form (hosted by Tally), our email brief form (which opens your own email app), or email us, we receive what you send: for example your name, email address, brand name, website, product details, package choice, preferences, and the date you agreed to our Terms.
- Project assets. Product photos, videos, logos, brand guidelines, offers, claims, and other materials you share for a project, by email or by uploading them to our project form.
- Payment information. Payments are handled by a third-party payment processor. We receive confirmation of payment and basic billing details (such as name, email, amount, and date), but not your full card number.
- Technical information. Our website has no accounts, ad pixels, or cookies of our own. We use Cloudflare Web Analytics, which counts page views without cookies or tracking you across sites. Our hosting provider (Cloudflare) may automatically log standard technical data such as IP address, browser type, and pages requested, for security and to deliver the site.
2. How we use information
- To reply to you, prepare quotes, and deliver your project.
- To create your Ads from the assets you provide.
- To send invoices and payment links, and keep business, tax, and accounting records.
- To keep a record of your agreement to our Terms.
- To send service messages about your project or plan. We will only send marketing emails if you ask for them or as allowed by law, and every marketing email will include a way to opt out.
3. We do not sell your data
We do not sell, rent, or share your personal information for others' advertising. We do not use your project assets to promote our business without your written permission.
4. Service providers (processors)
We share information only with providers that help us run the business, and only as needed for that purpose:
- Email: Zoho Mail hosts our inbox and stores messages you send us.
- Forms: Tally (Tally BV, Belgium) receives the answers and files you submit through our project form and stores them on our behalf.
- Payments: our payment processor (for example Stripe or PayPal) processes payments under its own privacy policy.
- Production tools: video, image, and voice generation and editing tools (such as ElevenLabs) process the project assets and scripts needed to make your Ads.
- Website: Cloudflare, which hosts and delivers this site and provides our cookieless page-view counts. Our fonts are served from our own site, not from a third-party font service.
We may also disclose information if required by law, to protect our rights, or as part of a sale or transfer of the business.
5. Retention
- Project assets and working files are kept for 90 days after final delivery so revisions and re-exports are easy, then deleted, unless you ask us to keep them longer or delete them sooner.
- Emails, invoices, and records of your agreement to our Terms are kept as long as needed for tax, accounting, and legal purposes, generally up to 7 years.
6. Your choices and deletion requests
You can ask us to access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you by emailing hello@tapandhook.com. We will respond within 30 days. We may keep information we are required to keep by law, such as tax records. Depending on where you live, you may have additional rights under local law, and we will honor them.
7. Security
We use reasonable measures to protect your information, such as access-controlled accounts and providers with strong security practices. No method of storage or transmission is completely secure.
8. Children
Our services are for businesses and are not directed to children. We do not knowingly collect personal information from anyone under 16. If you believe a child has sent us information, contact us and we will delete it.
9. Where information is processed
We are based in the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States and other countries.
10. Changes to this policy
If we change this policy, we will post the new version here with a new effective date.
